On a personal note:

2009 has been a challenging year for me personally, as I continue

to manage my own depression… but I am really proud of

the fact that I have seen this project through to completion and not given

up.

I know from the feedback I’ve received so far that this journey has been worth it.I continue to learn from and be inspired by the Blue

Like You girls & women and I hope you will too.

I’d  like to thank all of the wonderful contributors to the project for their amazing contribution, bravery, and patience – together we can create a new dialogue around depression that’s positive, inspirational, and REAL.  You all ROCK!

Thank you also to everyone that has helped to support the campaign through their interest and involvement – you’re all stars!

And thank you to all of the extraordinary people in my life that continue to support me and keep sending their wonderful love my way – thank you xoxo

As a woman who is currently trying her best to manage anxiety and depression as part of her life rather than eliminate it, it is wonderful to be able to read REAL stories from woman who have experienced anxiety and depression as I have(for many years). It is reassuring to know I am not alone. The more that depression and anxiety can be talked about and accepted rather than stigmatised, the better our lives will be. Maybe one day I will share my story too. Thankyou for a fantastic resource, hope it continues!
